Patent Engineer since 1984. Joined Dr. Solf & Zapf in 1996. Chemical engineering, in particular technology of electrode manufacturing for steel furnaces and electrolysis of aluminum, granulometry, testing of materials, friction-lubrication wear, structure and properties of elastomers, coat-ing processes of metallic materials.
Graduated from the Technical University of Leuna-Merseburg in process technology. Doctor’s degree with a thesis in tribology.
Nine years industrial practice in research and development of carbon material technology and in the field of legal protection of industrial property concerning storage and treatment of cereals. Teaching assignments in materials science, e.g. in Russian at the Pedagogical University of Vilnius.
