Graduated from the Technical University of Clausthal-Zellerfeld as an engineer for chemistry and for non-metallic materials science and technology, especially ceramics. Obtained a doctor’s degree in the field of synthesis of calcium silicates. Industrial practice as, for instance, assistant to Managing Director of test-machines plant, scientific work in the field of seismic and soil mechanics, Manager of the research laboratory of the German Lime Industry.

Began studies for Patent Attorneyship in 1970. Junior judge with the Civil Court of Düsseldorf (Patent Litigation Senate). Patent Attorney since 1973. Mediator certified by the Chamber of Commerce Munich. Member of “Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsmediation und Konfliktmanagemant e.V.”, Member of the Panel of Neutrals – International Trademark Association. Long-standing experience in all fields of German and European patent, utility model, trademark and design proceedings, litigation, licensing and legal matters related to inventions by employees.

Specializing in the fields of molecular sieves, organic and inorganic building materials, filling materials for plastics, medical technology, recycling technology, constructional engineering, tool manufacturing, electrical plug connectors and contact elements, equipment for automotive industry, agricultural machinery, internal combustion engines, conveying systems, ceramics, glass, binders, refractory products, construction and engineering of industrial kilns and furnaces.
